Leafleting IS SO POWERFUL!!!! CHECK IT OUT!

I had the honor to leaflet with Vegan Outreach's Outreach Coordinator, Jon Camp, at U Central Florida and U Florida this week [5700 leaflets total].

At BOTH campuses, we heard from folks who received leaflets from previous semesters and WENT VEG because of it!

AND, today, Jon was at FAMU in Tallahassee, met a student who received a leaflet from me last semester, and WENT VEG because of it!? They had jumped the veg-ship TWO DAYS ago, but because Jon handed them another leaflet today, THEY'RE GOING BACK!? Imagine the odds of this ONE student meeting us BOTH!!!!

ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!? And just think - this is just the people we HEAR from!

I can't emphasis this enough....WE MUST LEAFLET!? The big picture depends on it.? These booklets plant seeds - even if the recipients immediate reaction isn't favorable, it becomes a conversation piece.

Even if you can't spend a lot of time on leafleting, keep some with you for when a crowd or conversation materializes.? I like to give them to toll booth workers, postal carriers, anyone who we have a convo with.? AND [thanks for the idea, Marilyn Weaver!], you know those junk mail catalogs we all get?? The pre-paid envelopes are PERFECT for enclosing a leaflet and mailing it back!

Check out Vegan Outreach's Adopt-A-College site for other feedback and successes with this type of outreach - AMAZING AMAZING!

Onward, upward and plantward my friends!
