Be The Change: Cat Ambassador Program starting at the Hillsborough shelter

The Hillsborough County shelter is going through some serious changes -- for the better! -- but there's no way in the world the shelter's going to save more animals unless we all pitch in.

If you want to help cats and work with them, here's your chance!  Super-Volunteer Ron Heimburger is organizing an all-volunteer Cat Ambassador Program to help all these great shelter kitties get out of the shelter alive and into good homes.

When the public comes to the shelter, they can feel lost and overwhelmed.  We can help with that, and we can help the cats feel more relaxed, too -- better for everyone.

We'll brainstorm ideas at this kickoff meeting, figure out what training we all need, and get this program started.

Please spread the word to all cat lovers.  See you at the meowting!

Around 80% of the cats who enter our shelter do not make it out alive. This NEEDS to change but it won't happen without YOU! Please join us!
