FREE T-SHIRT SO YOUR VOICE CAN BE HEARD!

After 8 months, $50,000 of our money being spent on a "facilitator", thousands of animals lives being lost and a recommendation that had no consensus of opinion, the supposedly unbiased Task Force that was set up to help our Shelter Director develop "best practices" for saving more animals at our shelter is now asking for our Director to separate his proposed plan so that the Board of Commissioners can vote on his community cat recommendation (TNVR) separately from the rest of his plan.

Now why do you think they want that? I think we all know the answer to that question. Once again the small group of vets who are opposed to TNVR are trying to impose their will on our board of Commissioners and our community. We must not let that happen and with your help it won't.

We need you to come to the Task Force meeting at 601 E. Kennedy Blvd in Downtown Tampa, on Wed (the 24th) to stand with us to let the Task Force, the Animal Advisory Committee and most importantly the BOCC know what the community thinks of this desperate attempt to stop progress and continue killing our feral cats. Join us, at 6:30pm, get a FREE T-shirt to wear, so all will know where you stand on this issue.

T-shirts will be handed out before the meeting, so please get there no later than 6:15.

$50,000....no kidding...that's a LOT of money for a facilitator who has evidently not accomplished what you paid them to get accomplished...wow...hardly know what to think...

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
