Vegan Bake Sale for Haiti

As we all know, Haiti is in crisis now due to the devastating earthquakes. The Post Punk Kitchen called out to all of us vegan bakers to put our skills to work to fund relief efforts, so The St. Pete Vegetarian Meetup is jumping on board! Sweetwater Organic Farm has agreed to let us sell at their Sunday market at no charge. Thanks Sweetwater!

Facebook Event

Here's what we need:
1) VEGAN BAKED GOODS -- Can you bake? Great! We need baked goods donated. You can either bring them to Sweetwater yourself, or we will designate a drop off point for those who can't make it over. Remember, vegan -- no eggs, dairy, etc.

2) SALESPEOPLE -- Can't bake? Or you have a free Sunday afternoon? We need at least 5 people to man the table, sell our treats, and collect money. We will try to have shifts, but I would like at least one person who can be there the whole time. I cannot be there, so this is an important role!

Schedule:
10:00 - 4:30 (All Day): Ashli, Amber, & Walter
10:00 - 1:00 (Setup): Karin(?)
11:30 - 2:30:
1:00 - 3:00: Nina & Donna
2:30 - 4:30 (Teardown): Nina & Janette

3) A CHARITY -- We are looking at two charities. Regardless of whether you can attend, please designate which charity you would like us to support. We can also split the donation and support both. The options are:

-- Animal Relief Coalition of Haiti (ARCH): Endeavors to save Haiti's animal earthquake victims under the leadership of the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) and the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW)
-- Food for Life Global (FFLG): Provides vegetarian/vegan meals to the hungry.

4) TABLE/CHAIRS/TENT -- If you can provide any of this please let us know!

5) CONTRIBUTIONS -- If you can't contribute in one of the ways mentioned above, you can send a donation directly to one of the organizations listed above. Just let me know how much you are sending so we can report a grand total to the group.

So in your response, please list how you are helping! No maybes. Yes or No RSVP's only for this one!
