4th Annual Tampa Bay Veg Fest

Mark your calendar!  Florida Voices for Animals presents the 4th annual Tampa Bay Veg Fest, which will take place on Saturday, October 19 at beautiful Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa.  This popular free event is attended by thousands of people.  As in the past, we will have restaurant vendors with delicious plant-based foods available for purchase, free food samples courtesy of vegan food companies, a great kids' area, live music, companion animals available for adoption, cooking demonstrations, entertaining and educational films and speakers, dozens of fabulous exhibitors and so much more!  We are thrilled that our keynote speaker this year will be Jane Velez-Mitchell, award-winning television journalist, best-selling author and amazing animal advocate.

This is an event you won't want to miss.  Tell your friends and family and mark your calendar.  Our website will be continually updated so check back often for updates.

Shayla, if you're still interested in volunteering, please reply to the e-mails the volunteer coordinators sent you. Maybe you didn't receive them and should check your spam folder?

Wolves are a great cause we shud all be behind. Unfortunately, I'm so embroiled in working on Veg Fest I just don't have time to talk to you about this right now. Perhaps you'll come to Veg Fest this Sat in Tampa & see what Florida Voices for Animals is all about & become a member. Hope to see you there.

Hello, I just joined b/c I'm a huge animal lover and also b/c I want to find people in the bay area who will walk for wolves. At this precise moment they are being hunted to extinction. Let's not let this happen! Email me if you would like to join this cause at [masked]. Thank you!! Gigi

I'm set to volunteer at Robert Cheeke's table (a very accomplished vegan bodybuilder/author/athlete and all around amazing human being)... Can hardly wait!

I'll be volunteering at the Florida Voices for Animals tent most of the day. Volunteering at Veg Fest is a great way to become more involved in the animal advocacy/veg community--if you're interested, write to the e-mail address at the bottom of the Meetup announcement.
