Tampa Bay Walk for Farm Animals

The Walk for Farm Animals raises vital funds for Farm Sanctuary’s life-saving work and brings together thousands of people to change hearts and minds about farm animals. Will you join us in Tampa Bay to support compassion for all?

Registration opens at 1 p.m., and the walk starts at 2 and lasts until 5--rain or shine!

Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. The total walk distance is 2.6 miles.

Advance registration is just $15. Day-of registration is $25. Kids under 18 walk for free! Register here to join our team:

Be sure to sign up for the Animal Advocacy of Tampa Bay Meetup team; there's a similarly named Animal Advocacy team, but that's not our group.

There'll be live music by Ronny Elliott, and Anthony Damiano, co-founder of AELLA (The Alliance for Earth, Life, Liberty & Advocacy) and the Initiative, will speak.

The organizers did a great job under trying circumstances (crappy weather and low turnout). I wish everyone who registered had come out to show the orgs that their efforts were appreciated *and* to show onlookers just how many of us support Farm Sanctuary, its mission, and, most important, the animals!

Kind of disappointed of the low turn out. Maybe the rain stopped participation?

I'm sure it did keep a lot of our registered walkers from coming. I think about half who had already registered actually came to the walk.

We could really use a couple extra hands today starting at 11am if anyone is able and willing please come down early! Thank you!!

    Walkers and Potential Walkers:

Once you've registered, you should receive an e-mail from the walk organizers that goes over general walk info, such as the schedule and parking instructions.

I'm thinking about joining the walk. Do we just have to pay the registration or do we need to find fund raisers to sponsor the walk as well?

All you need to do is pay the registration fee, but make sure you do so today rather than tomorrow, or you'll owe another $10. Hope to see you tomorrow!

I will be walking at the TB walk for Farm Animals in Nov. I've already signed up for the walk under my own name.
