Everyone loves a (vegan) potluck! Let's get together and share delicious, vegan food. If you're new to our group, this is a great way to get to know other members!
"What do I bring?"
1. Yourself! Feel free to bring a friend or family member, as well. The more, the merrier!
2. Vegan food dish(es) with serving utensils: Everything must be vegan (no meat, no dairy, no eggs, no honey, no animal products of any kind). We have some raw and gluten-free members, so if you feel comfortable with those types of recipes and would enjoy bringing them, please do so. You can be as simple or as extravagant with your dish as you like - no limits! Salads, side dishes, desserts, snacks/finger foods, beverages... the possibilities are truly endless!
3. A list of ingredients for your dish: This is helpful for those with allergies/sensitivities, or are just plain ol' curious.
"I'm still not sure what to bring!"
If you're looking for some vegan culinary inspiration, check out the vegan cookbooks at your local library, or the following vegan websites: http://vegweb.com/ and http://www.theppk.com/. Just plain ol' Google will help you out, too.
Other Important Notes:
Please include with your "Yes" RSVP what you'll be bringing. This helps other attendees decide what to make, allows us to have a wide variety of foods, and prevents us from having several bowls of pasta salad and mashed potatoes!
Also, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PLATES AND CUTLERY. This makes our event much more eco-friendly.
