What type of activism do you enjoy? (i.e. leafletting, tabling, hosting film screenings, letter writing, restaurant outreach, etc...)

Changing one person at a time. We have a hard time going out to restaurants that accomodate vegans but mainly serve meat and dairy stuff. I write when my thoughts are clear, petition , leaflet, participate in events, speak for the animals.

Why do you want to help animals?

There will not be peace until violence again all non human species has stopped. We cannot deny all animals the same rights to enjoy life as we claim for ourselves. That we need to get organized to defend the animals and our planet.

When do you have availability so that other members can reach you to pair up to do activism?

I am quite available, but rarely go out at night, or travel outside our general area. I often prefer to come as team with my husband Ian, who as a vegan body builder is a great spokesperson.

My husband and I are committed vegans. No leather , no animal ingredients, testing, etc..... We live in Gulfport. Ian is a Jeet Kune Do Instructor and sells Retro scooters. I love to cook for friends, gardening dabble in art and work on my website.

What Brigitte W. is saying about this Meetup Group

True we were not feeling too good that morning. The cold caught us by surprise. But we went , prepared to participate in this worthy event. But we could not find you. Unless you were at the very end by the water. But why would you want to organize an event where no one would see the walkers and be able to engage in some form of awareness. The road was blocked by a police car. After some asking and some walking , we gave up.
