My husband and I are committed vegans. No leather , no animal ingredients, testing, etc..... We live in Gulfport. Ian is a Jeet Kune Do Instructor and sells Retro scooters. I love to cook for friends, gardening dabble in art and work on my website.
Changing one person at a time. We have a hard time going out to restaurants that accomodate vegans but mainly serve meat and dairy stuff. I write when my thoughts are clear, petition , leaflet, participate in events, speak for the animals.
There will not be peace until violence again all non human species has stopped. We cannot deny all animals the same rights to enjoy life as we claim for ourselves. That we need to get organized to defend the animals and our planet.
I am quite available, but rarely go out at night, or travel outside our general area. I often prefer to come as team with my husband Ian, who as a vegan body builder is a great spokesperson.
"While veganism is the foundation of all ethical discussion, it crosses over into areas of sustainability corporate power, profit and greed. "

The cookbook is a great idea. My friend Sarah Kiser, who is a vegan and a very talented painter in oils, and I are already at work on one. However, I would be happy to collaborate on such an endeavor. I think it would be wonderful to find a place where a bunch of us could get together to cook for one another, to take turns giving vegan cooking classes, that sort of thing. Let me give this some thought. Would also be great to turn this into a kind of advocacy.
Hi, Brigitte! Thanks for starting this group. Looking forward to it! I've done quite a bit of writing on topics related to veganism and animal rights, and I'm working on a book on the subject. I'm also a cook and VERY much interested in vegan cooking and in participating in events in which people might share their knowledge of vegan cooking and help to educate one another about compassionate eating.
