Writing and talking my little heart out. That's my 1st book (more pending). I love showing the world how much you can save by exchanging the cheapest meat for the cheapest comparable serving of beans. Not only at the store but by avoiding diseases that meat/dairy can cause. Mom, aunt & both sisters: breast cancer. Both parents, all grandparents and sister: heart disease. Mom, uncle, grandmother: Alzheimer's. I didn't get all the good genes. I place in 5K races for my age group in the Tampa/Sarasota area. Did 1st marathon last year. Loving showing plants enhance athletic performance. Gotta run...
Did you see this month's National Geographic on animal feelings and intellect? The more we know, the more we find we don't know.
My "activism" is teaching folks to put their money where their mouths are. I'm fascinated by those who are environmentalists & don't know of, support the UN's own report that says eating this way is the best thing you can do to help the environment.
Catching my breath between VefFests (Toronto, Tampa done. Orlando, Boston and New York coming up) and Meetups. Certified personal trainer, running coach (assistant volunteer coach for Manatee High girls cross country) and motivational speaker.
Thanks for another great VegFest! So many helpful volunteers, well organized, and I have never had my laptop plug in to a projector and work so quickly! ;) I too, saw and heard many life-changing comments. This is really an exciting time to see many positive changes for animals! Thanks everyone, for all your hard work!
