Great News

We are very pleased to let you know that on February 19th The  Pasco County Commissioners voted 4-1 to ban tethering unless the owner is outside and within visual range of the dog. This means only ATTENDED dog chaining is now allowed!
THANK YOU,   Pasco Commissioners for passing an anti-tether ordinance - a no loop-hole ordinance that will insure that dogs will no longer be forced to suffer neglect and abuse at the end of a chain!

THANK YOU to all who responded to the League of Humane Voters-FL calls for action to contact Pasco County commissioners, and to attend the meetings and public hearing to make your concerns heard.

The animal community is large and is now organized under LOHV-FL as a voting voice for animals in our community. LOHV-FL calls upon you to ask your friends, family & neighbors to join us, as THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS.

Go to our web site (www.LOHV-FL.org) to sign up (no cost) and become part of our growing voting bloc for animals throughout the state of Florida. Please forward this e-mail to all of your Florida contacts.

As we increase our membership, our costs to operate go up. A small donation to further support our work will be abundantly appreciated. As a political action committee, we are limited in soliciting grants. Donations can be made on our web site. No amount is too small.

THANK YOU for being the voice for animals!
