Subject: Have pups?
A friend of a friend has a child with health challenges that include seizures. They would like to get a pup for her for Christmas but are looking for a breed that they feel would be a good service dog. They're looking for an Aussie or Aussie mix in particular (not sure why). I explained this type of dog will needs lots of exercise, etc.
They have already contacted Aussie Rescue and were rather surprised at $300 - $500 adoption fee. My friend suggested saving a pup from death row. So.....does anyone know of a pup out there that could be trained as a service dog and companion for this little girl?
THE QUESTION IS NOT CAN THEY REASON, NOR CAN THEY TALK; BUT CAN THEY SUFFER. -- Jeremy Bentham
EAT MORE VEGGIES! Not only is it healthier for you, but you eliminate misery for millions of factory farmed animals. They live their lives caged, crowded, deprived, drugged, manhandled and mutilated. They never experience sunlight, fresh air or green grass. They are often skinned, dismembered, scalded and bled while still conscious.
Until we can change this, how dare we say humans are superior!
