“ THIS IS A GREAT STEP FORWARD and I was honored to be there. You wonderful eight people have started something that will ultimately capture the attention of this City, this State and the entire Country. This message about these horrific Dog & Cat horrors will eventually explode across the land. This is just the beginning and everyone will continue to work hard until one day it will be very unpleasant and unproductive to work in any manner with these uncivilized barbarian countries who inflict horrific abuse on these poor, vulnerable, helpless little Dogs and Cats in broad daylight with impunity. THIS HAS TO END AND WILL END. ”

“ I think NYC animal rights is great,I need someone to help me help a dog :(Im in a terrible situation, I live in a rooming house and i became friends with the guy that moved in next room,. Then he got a beautiful pit pup,I had oppurtunity to LOVE her feed her n play with her. Then he turned into a animal himself he beat her so bad she was limping..then he got a cage n locks her in the room all day. Ive tried talking to him as a friend but the guy has a anger management problem.I called the aspca one time and then he started being ok n let the dog out where i can care for her again. Last night i hear the dog screaming from outside all the way up the stairs...I feel like im such a coward and my heart is tearing up for this dog. can some one help me .....email me at [masked] thanks ”

“ All in all, it was a very intense and successful rally. You can see coverage here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NuNnsj3K_0 Also, "their side" posted a blog with pictures and video (please post comments ... I tried to post veterinary statements, but my comment was not approved): http://www.crownheights.info/index.php?itemid=28772 Kaporos is being done all over my neighborhood. Yesterday, I went around taking some pictures and initiating a dialogue with some of the participants. I also have our banner displayed on my house, to try to raise consciousness. We have to keep watering those seeds. Thank you again to all who came out! And a great big thank you to Santos for promoting the event. Rina PS: This meetup group is AWESOME! ”

“ Santos makes a great deal of effort in organizing a good demo for the animals year round. This is one of the best groups in NYC fighting for the animals year round. Santos dedication and effort make going out to demos in all types of weather worthwhile; the animals plight is the reason for me to keep attending these demos in the hopes of changing minds and hearts. ”

“ All it takes for evil to triumph is for good [wo]men to do nothing. Please dont just sit there and care -- join us! If everyone who cared about the suffering of these tortured animals would commit to coming to one of these events even just once a year - what a difference it would make! You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it." - Talmud ”
