On Monday June 9th, a carriage horse named 'Pumpkin' lost his bridle and bolted. The horse turned off Central Park South and into the Sixth Avenue entrance of Central Park running. He then circled around to the backstretch of Central Park South. That is when the horse's carriage clipped the open door of a taxi.
Please join the Coalition to Ban Horse-Drawn Carriages and concerned activists to protest the inhumane, cruel and abusive horse-drawn carriage trade.
Stand with us as we educate tourists and others not to take these rides.
Supporting the carriage trade is supporting institutionalized cruelty. It is legal now, but its days are numbered.
Please speak out for the exploited carriage enslaved carriage horses.
We cannot do this without you.
