Formed in 2003, the Ann Arbor Book Festival’s mission is to promote reading, heighten awareness of literacy challenges, and showcase the rich culture of the written word in Michigan and beyond. Each year a diverse group of community leaders committed to literature, language, and the arts in Michigan plans the Festival. While the festival is located in Ann Arbor, it is regional in its scope and interest.

In addition to the summer festival, AABF partners with the University of Michigan's Institute for the Humanities to bring you the Author's Forum series. Follow the Author's Forum throughout the fall, winter, and spring semesters here on Meetup or check out the schedule at: bit.ly/1iWTaUQ

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
