The coffee and tea tastings we did last month was very fun and informative. Our new sponsor, Seattle's Best Coffee, provided us with coffee passports, knowledge about how to smell, sense, taste and choose food accompaniments to various brews and gave us free samples to take home. Our coffee passports far from full, Seattle's Best has invited us to attend another coffee tasting, complete with new brews and baked goods. If you have already received a passport, bring it along. If not, you can get one at the event. We will have the tasting promptly at 6:30 PM; our discussion of Alice Walker's "Possessing the Secret of Joy" will follow at 7:30 PM. This event is being hosted pro-bono by Seattle's Best; it's absolutely free-of-charge! Prepare your pallet, this will be another great tastebud-opening event!
Two notes: this event will be dues-free and take place on the second story of Borders at the Seattle's Best cafe.
