I like to read. And I like to talk.
I joined to obtain book recommendations; and to have someone to discuss the books with.
Hard question. Once a Runner - I was able to live vicariously through the eyes of a competitive runner; I'm just a hobby runner. The Glass Castle - humbling. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - exciting but a little over the top. My AP History book - it is much more interesting the second time. Bringing Down the House - poorly written but exciting. How the States Got Their Shapes - a map hides many stories. The Secret Life of Words - I might be an etymologist, I'm not sure. The Blind Side - very entertaining how the author mixed football history with a family story. The Yankee Years - the team we love to hate. The Hunger Games and Harry Potter series - fun. Clean Kill: A Sniper Novel - better than an action movie.
I googled "book club".
