How long have you enjoyed photography? What got you into it?

My mother was quite the amateur photographer and I used to develop my own black and white photography back in the day.

What kind of camera do you use, and what is your favorite lens?

I use a Nokia Lumia 1020.. not many options for lenses with that setup, but I do miss having solid Macro abilities as well as really showing a depth of field without post effects.

What type of photography do you most enjoy (e.g. portraiture, landscape, macro, street photography, nature, candid, etc.)?

I love Macro, but rarely is that applied to my films studies. I love anything to do with nature, but less grand vista and much more of an intimate look at the smaller things,

How would you like to improve your photography? What are your goals?

Practice makes perfect, but I need to develop good habits. I want to take my smartphone setup and view it as a liberating experience rather than a hindrance... working with little and being able to still achieve something I can be proud of. One dam when I do purchase solid equipment, I want it to expand what I can do without losing the hard work ethic that I deal with now.

How did you hear about our group?

Searching the meet up site for photograph ;-)

Hi! I'm a film major and I love having solid camerawork in my projects. I have no video equipment of my own due to being a poor college kid but like to practice with my smartphone with some creative angles, and discipline in framing and composition!
