I've been taking photos for almost all of my 59 years on the planet, starting with Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid snapshots as a child. I got serious about "photography" in 1971 after discovering the work of Henri Cartier Bresson and other early photojournalists.
I use a Canon Elan II as my film camera. I also use a Canon Rebel Xsi DSLR. My favorite lens is a Tamron 10-24mm, followed by my Canon 80mm F 1.8. My coveted lens if I ever get the money is a Canon 50mm 1.2 which I'm certain would become my favorite lens once obtained.
Street photography of people.
My main goal is just to take more pictures. I think that is a primary means of improving my photography.
I just saw it on Meetup.
My photography has appeared in Ontario Reviews and been exhibited in juried shows at the Michigan Photography Exhibition & The Toledo Musuem of Art. My short stories have been published in Blue Mesa Review and Quick Fiction.
