For over ten years now and more seriously in the last two years. I got started in photography because I would see photo albums from all my college friends of our time together and I realized I didn't have any photo evidence of my earlier years (high school, college, etc). My journey started there of photography friends and family and then I was lucky enough to travel for my job and got into landscape photography. In the past year, I have made a commitment to become a semi-professional photographer and have been focusing on portraiture and landscape photography.
Canon 5D Mark III and probably my[masked] f/2.8 is my favorite lens for portraiture.
Portraiture, landscape, nature, sports.
Photography is a lifelong journey so I'm in a constant state of learning and seeking knowledge. Key ares of focus for me are really composition, understanding areas to shoot in the mid-Michigan area, workflow, lighting and overall relationship building with fellow photographers.
Mainly word of mouth through various friends.
I've been into photography for over ten years. Outside of time with my family, I can't think of anything that makes me happier in life. I enjoy not only taking photos but discussing photography with my friends and colleagues.
Great group of folks who had a lot to contributed to various conversations. And there seem to be some excellent cooks in the group too!
