How long have you enjoyed photography? What got you into it?

Got my first camera when I was in 6th grade, back when they were film. Have upgraded and eventually moved to digital. Now looking at compact digital as my Canon set up takes a lot of room to carry with me.

What kind of camera do you use, and what is your favorite lens?

I have a canon

What type of photography do you most enjoy (e.g. portraiture, landscape, macro, street photography, nature, candid, etc.)?

I'm an outdoor person, so I prefer nature. Landscapes, wildlife, flowers, you name it.

How would you like to improve your photography? What are your goals?

I would love to learn more than point, shoot, and hope for the best. My current approach is to take the photo, then touch it up in Photoshop if need be. (I have used Photoshop for years, and have taught Photoshop classes at WCC.) I'd also love to learn more about photographing people. My people shots always turn out stilted or fuzzy.

How did you hear about our group?

Was looking for a photo group in the area, and saw you on Meetup.com
