How long have you enjoyed photography? What got you into it?

Since 1963 when my father gave me a Twin-lens Kodak Duaflex II and taught me the basics. Learning to compose images upside down and backwards is akin to learning graphic drawing before CAD. Theories practiced tend to stick with you regardless of how the technology changes.

What kind of camera do you use, and what is your favorite lens?

Nikon D90. In film days my favorite lens was the 105mm f2.8 MicroNikkor.

What type of photography do you most enjoy (e.g. portraiture, landscape, macro, street photography, nature, candid, etc.)?

Portraiture, Candid, Nature, and Abstract in that order.

How would you like to improve your photography? What are your goals?

Understand subtle lighting changes on the fly.

How did you hear about our group?

When I was looking to set up something similar for photographers in A2.
