Beginning this October, we're starting Food/Beverage and Critique Events. The idea is to meet in a restaurant/brewery/coffee shop and provide constructive criticisms to fellow attendees’ pictures. The groups will be limited to 8 or 9 members or per the venue limitation and will meet in an informal, relaxed settings. We plan to have this event monthly with interesting food/beverage options to go with it. Hopefully these events will help us improve our work and have a good time with the fellow shutterbugs. Also we invite all shutterbugs to consider hosting one of these events in your local area (although our group is AA shutterbugs, it’s spread throughout SE-Michigan). To volunteer to be a host, go to our meetup page and click “Suggest Event” Option or contact one of the organizers.
As an event host you will be in charge for:
· * Picking a location for the event – Restaurants, Breweries, Coffee shops – you decide.
· ** Picking a suitable date/time for the event – Ideally a week evening but weekends are okay too.
· * Add your own flavor to the event – Because the same routine gets boring
· * Keeping the conversation civilized – Moderate the event so that decorum of the location is maintained and criticisms don’t get personal.
