First Aid

Have you ever wanted to save a life? This course will teach you the actions and steps to take to care for someone who needs First Aid or assist and potentially save someone who requires CPR. This course is a certified First Aid and CPR training course that is recognized by the Naval Academy and has a specific focus on applying the aid in sailing situations. If you own a boat and take others out on the water, are the skipper of a boat with other individuals as crew, or simply are around people, you never know when you may be called upon to use these skills and save a life. The cost for this training may be tax-deductible.

TOPICS:

The course will cover all required topics to certify the student in First Aid and CPR.

PREREQUISITES:

None

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

All course materials will be provided.

SCHEDULE:

One eight-hour classroom session will be held on March 16.

COST:

$75 for the course materials
