Just a reminder that my favorite tradeshow is coming this Friday. Although this event is near Baltimore, it is right off the Beltway and draws business people from DC to Belair! For those new to tradeshows, it's not just about checking out the vendors. Turn to the other attendees and ask, "So, what does [company name from nametag] do?" or "So, tell me about [company name]." It's amazing how this can increase the ROI for you time to attend. If you only talk to the table vendors, you are missing out on some great business relationships.
I have to admit the Network Referral Group (NRG) tradeshow is my favorite because most of it's attendees understand that business networking is about creating relationships not about broadcasting your offerings.NRG Summits will now be held twice a year in Maryland. The next Summit will be Friday, April 16th at the Hilton Pikesville, 1726 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville. If you are interested in exhibiting please contact Mike Weiner at 443.756.9656.
The April Summit is being sponsored by Laura McInernery of Turn Key Office, Lorenzo Cruz, Jr. who is an IDA associate, and Astaro.Join the Baltimore Business Journal on May 13th at the Marriott Hunt Valley Inn for their Spring Business Growth Expo! This is a terrific chance for area professionals to network and create future opportunities. They expect 400+ attendees and 40+ exhibitors.
