Wow. While I am familiar with the existence of the Waldorf schools, this was my first awareness of the education theory and practice of Rudolf Steiner on which it is based. Also, this was an introduction to the Anthroposophists, and the esoteric philosophy by which they live.
This group is going to study the books and lectures of Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Waldorf education. During our Meetup study groups we will take turns reading from a selected book or set of lectures and discuss the material in order to gain a deeper understanding. Our meetups will be in the evening in Round Rock and possibly Cedar Park. Those interested in learning more about anthroposophy, Rudolph Steiner, or the basic underlying principles of the Waldorf philosophies are encouraged to join. Also, for a detailed biography on Rudolph Steiner, visit this link: http://issuu.com/anthrousa/docs/being-human-2011-01 (this is an online journal, turn to page 7 for the biography of Rudolph Steiner).
