What do you write?

Non-fiction (currently a book on child abuse/mental disease, a third person memoir) Fiction, specifically sci-fi and social political drama really bad poetry which never sees the light of day

How often do you write?

Every day, and often at night.

Why do you want to join this Merry Band?

I have never been in a writers group and I figured you might need my help. Seriously, though, I have been working this project for 6 months, 6 long, wonderful, excrutiating months. During this time, I've experienced life changes that have affected my ability to tell this story effectively. I need help. A friend of mine, Suz Bednarz, a writer and editor, suggested a writer's group and I found the group run by David Boyne, and he suggested you. At the same time, as I read through Mr. Boyne's site, I realized that writing didn't have to be a solitary pursuit. I have always felt alone, that my friends and family, while supportive, never really understood who and what I truly am. I will be honest and tell you that I don't know if I will be helpful to you as a critic. I do have my own opinions and I have been telling authors for years what they should be doing differently. Of course, I've been telling it to the print between the covers and not to their faces, but still...
