Introduction
I am new to North County, have always been somewhat a misfit, and have creative talent that has for the past too many years been channeled into teaching writing. I'm ready to do more. I also like hats of all kinds including berets
What do you write?
this past year it's been mainly pathetic poetry to get me through the breakup of my marriage. that and lots of course materials for classes I've taught. I started a few projects last spring but had a heavy summer course load and then moved.
How often do you write?
Not enough, unless you count lengthy e-mails to my ex. I want to get back into writing and having a set time, place and group to share with is a motivator.
Why do you want to join this Merry Band?
I like writers. I want to write. I'm a good reader and giver of feedback. I'm socially awkward (or at least feel that way in most social situations) and have always identified with misfits. good enough?
