September Accountability Session, Option 1 of 2

***Only members who have attended at least one discussion of the Knapsack meetup group in the last six months permitted***

We have two options for the accountability session each month, hoping that those who want to join us will be able to go to one or the other.  You are welcome to attend both sessions, if you would like to do so.

Each session includes time to: greet each other, silently reflect and write about our anti-racism work, report on how we're doing regarding our anti-racism work, and receive feedback.  We usually do the reporting and feedback in small groups of 3-4 people.  If you can't stay as late as 9:00, please go ahead and RSVP, just let us know your limitations.

Remember to bring your notebook, if you have one!  (We'll have a few extra for anyone who hasn't come to an accountability session before.)

For more about our thoughts on these sessions, see "Open discussion to consider monthly accountability sessions."

I probably will be able to come but just change my rsvp just in case i can't make it. Will it be ok if I come at the last minute eventhough I change my rsvp to no? i have an appointment at 5 and if its over before 6 I will head over otherwise I might not as I don't like to come in late..

Yes, Katia, please feel free to come, even if you will be late. Just let us know, as it might make a difference between having two small groups or staying together.

(Since you've come to an accountability session before, you know how it works.)

I wouldn't be able to make it till 7:30 or so. I guess I'd be coming in mid individual-discussion? Please let me know how you-all would feel about that.

(Sorry re the conflict; this was the only time for scheduling a meeting to start a project that I want to in fact be discussing in accountability sessions. I'm sure it will be at least moderately disruptive of me to come in in the middle. So I can wait till a good stopping place, or I can certainly wait till October's session. Either is fine with me!)

I think it would be all right. It's certainly better to have you at least the whole reporting/feedback time, but I think it's important for you to have the opportunity to come and report/get feedback. Since you know what's expected in these groups, I think you should feel free to come.

I'm going up be traveling a lot in September, so
I'm afraid I can't make it. See you at the August

Hope an October date works for you!

Gah! I am swamped with work for both of these dates 9/16 and 9/21. It's National Welcoming Week, welcomingweek.org, and many events are happening all over the state with Welcoming MA.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
