Join us for a discussion co-facilitated by CCI Interns Lanise Frazier and Sukhai Rawlins on the article: "White power and Black voices: Why we can’t rely on 'good white people'" by Dayvon Love. We will explore the non-profit industrial complex, white people's role, and how to prevent dynamics of whites co-opting movements led by communities of color, resulting in reproducing structures of white supremacy. Come ready and open to have a challenging and rewarding discussion.

What a great turnout and a great real talk discussion! I thought this piece about Catalyst Project relates to what we read and discussed tonight. Maybe we could have a separate meetup about it soon, and consider how it might apply for our meetup group.

I am attending the Stand with Children March and Rally (organized by MIRA) this evening. It is an excellent article and I will pass it onto the Anti-Racism Team of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Thank you.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
