Introduction
I am a single mom who had three children. My oldest daughter is tri-racial. I live in Boston just a few blocks past Mass Ave in what is actually Lower Roxbury. I have been a liberal all my life. I work 2 jobs and have Tuesday nights off.
Did you believe racism has been erradicated?
never and when job situation deteriorates it gets worse. Also adds to so called "anti immigrant" feelings.
Did you believe that whiteness plays a major role in racism?
Yes, also a "territorial" instinct. ie I must protect my land area from outsiders.
Who is your favorite author that writes about racism? Why?
I love poems by Langston Hughes
