Tribble Making Party! Star Trek Craft Night at The Jack London Bar 2

Trek in the Park will be performing The Trouble with Tribbles this August in Cathedral Park and they need thousands of tribbles to make the magic happen. We're throwing this party as fans to help them out by making 1,000 tribbles!

What better way to spend Earth Day than making furry creatures from outerspace?

What to expect: A room full of crazy tribble making madness!

There will be long tables set up according to tasks so we can make tribbles in an assembly line fashion. Tables for cutting fur, glue tables, sewing tables, and stuffing tables.

We have some fur, some glue guns, some stuffing and one sewing machine.

Bring: Glue gun, glue sticks, scissors, a sewing machine if you have one,  natural colored fur, and any stuffing you might have. Consider bringing lint brushes(fake fur gets everywhere!) and maybe a dust mask(fake fur gets everywhere!)

We had a blast last time and hope you did too!

Folks from Atomic Arts will be on site.  Don't miss your chance to pose for a picture with the Tribbles at the end of the night!

Hope to see you all there.

21+ only.  Full bar.  Costume encouraged.

This was a HOOT, even tho' I had fur EVERYWHERE when I got home...actually went in thru the garage and stripped so I cld wash everything before it got all over the house. Even my eyelashes were "furred"!! lol
I discovered I left one of my glue guns there, pls consider it a donation to the cause. =-)

Did we make a 1000 yet? Will there be another Tribble making event?

I found a bag of fake fur at Fabric Depot for $5, so can make a few tribbles from it - and, I am washing my old sleeping bag which will provide a lot of stuffing. I am so excited to make these tribbles! Is there parking nearby since I will be lugging my sewing machine?

Excellent! There is a Smart Park across the street at 4th and Alder. Enter through the Rialto and head to back of the bar to find stairs to the Jack London. The doors will open at 6. I have my sewing machine, too. We had four machines going non-stop last time and could have used more!
