I have a group of 5 people who will be hiking Silver Falls and would like to increase that to 7 to 12 people by including some meetup people.
We would meet to carpool at 9 am at the Fred Meyer parking lot on highway 99. We can carpool from there. Park in North East section of park.
You should see green arrow where we will meet

Backup plan in case it rains is have a snack nearby or brunch.
We would get to Silver Falls State Park before 10 am and hiking would be 5.1 miles to see 8 falls or an alternate 6.9 mile route to see all 10 falls.
That means 1.5 hours to 2 hours We can make that decision while we are on the trail when we come to the intersection.
There is a $5 per car parking fee for day use in the park. People should bring a light snack and plenty of water.

We can plan to get lunch in Silverton after the hike at Mac's Place. I have not been there before, but it has good ratings and is near the park. Here is a link to their website and menu. http://woodennickel.com/cms/content/section/6/56/
