Volunteer at the Oregon Food Bank! The shift is 6:00-8:30. Below is more information. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS EVENT IF YOU MAY CANCEL. Thanks! (In the event of a Wait List, members who have previously flaked on this will be switched with those on the Wait List who have not).

**Please wear close toe/close heel shoes.**

Thank you so much for choosing to volunteer with the Oregon Food Bank. We couldn’t do the work that we do without the help of volunteers. In the Volunteer Action Center, volunteers repackage and sort bulk non-perishable food items, fresh produce, frozen foods (meat, vegetables, etc.), or other projects. The tasks involve standing, squatting, lifting and pulling. We can accommodate most physical limitations, please let us know if you have any special needs. You will receive an orientation and training before you begin working.

**This is a "family friendly" volunteer shift.  Minimum age is 6.  If you are planning to bring your child/children, please RSVP with them as your guests.  I need to let the Food Bank know if our group has minors ahead of time.**

Safety:

·Please encourage all volunteers to dress appropriately for volunteering. Layers are recommended.
·Oregon Food Bank has a zero tolerance theft policy.
·No food, beverage, gum or candy may be consumed in the volunteer work areas.
·Please do not attend if you feel sick or have a cough, runny nose, flu-like symptoms, open wounds, or food born illnesses.

Location:

The Volunteer Action Center is located in our facility at 7900 NE 33rd Drive (directions are here). There is ample parking and the #73 bus stops right in front of the building. Please pay close attention to the signs posted to indicate the flow of traffic through the parking lot.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift to get signed in. The volunteer orientation begins promptly at your scheduled start time.

Again, thank you for your support of Oregon Food Bank and for your participation in the effort to eradicate hunger. Working together, we can make a difference!

I may be coming down with a cold, so I'd better not come and pass it on. Praying it's a false alarm.....

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
