The show starts at 6p. The doors open at 6p. Let's meet at 5p in the Lounge and "meet and greet" before we head to the show. I will post my location in the comments section once I have a location secured.
Another show starts at 8:45p so I am guessing that this will only go until 8 - 8:30p.
The Secret Society is a 1907 Victorian-era hall with a rich history that has housed two fraternal organizations, countless artists and musicians, and diverse events. Host to old-school society folks in the early 20th century, TSS embraces its old-world lodge mystique, and a historical past that is palpable throughout the Cocktail Lounge, Ballroom, and Recording Studio.
The Portland Playboys, a swinging mix of the Stolen Sweets' boy parts -- David Langenes, Keith Brush and Pete Krebs -- with Portland's hotshot country instrumentalists Rusty Blake and Ian Miller, serve up a heady dose of western swing and hillbilly boogie. Their sound harkens back to the late 40's and early 50's sounds of Bob Wills' Texas Playboys and Spade Cooley's band, a hot mix of country and jazz, just right for swing dancers and fans of vintage music alike
