Game Night (Old Willamette Area in West Linn, OR)

  • January 25, 2013 · 7:00 PM

Game Night rules are simple:

Bring your favorite game if you have one. I have: Quelf, Scattergories, Dominoes, Skip-Bo, dice, Apples to Apples, Aggrivation, and more. The game(s) we play will depends on the people who show so no game night is ever the same.

I do NOT provide drinks, except water. Please bring your own drink (alcoholic or non) and drink responsibly.

I will provide the home, more games, glasses and chips. If you want munchies other than chips, please bring something.

If you have  extra folding chairs, please feel free to bring them. I would really appreciate the extras.

My RSVP rules:
I take very RSVPs serious as this is my home that I share my address with.

The RSVP deadline to DROP is NOON the Thursday before. Please know by this date if you are coming or not so those on the waitlist can attend.

The RSVP deadline to ADD is 11am Friday the day of. I will send out my address around noon to all confirmed RSVPs.

If you RSVP, you show. No excuses. It's not only rude to RSVP and not show, but inconsiderate to everyone else who shows or wanted to show but couldn't.

If you RSVP and don't show, you won't be invited back.

It was FUN! Learned a few games, met some interesting people; had a good time.. even won a few times too.
Thank you Jen for hosting in your lovely home. I'll be bugging you for ideas for color schemes, decorating & staging homes for optimum appeal to prospective buyers & investors in some development projects...

Hi Jen! Seems word has gotten out how much fun game night is at your house :-) I not only enjoyed your hospitality at the last game night but also the lack of strong scents in your home and on the people who attended. I'm unfortunately very sensitive to chemical smells (febreeze, cologne, perfume, even some laundry soap & dryer sheets) and there have been many meet-ups I've attended briefly but had to leave because of my ensuing headache. Thanx to everyone who understands moderation when it comes to scents!! I look forward to another night of fun tomorrow! No regular folding chairs but I do have folding camp chairs, let me know if I should bring some.

Did you know that febreeze plug-ins, or any plugin for that matter, can be dangerous for your health? I stopped using them years ago after reading an article. And I hate seeing them in peoples homes.

      January 24, 2013

    • Suz

Yes, actually most chemical perfumes are dangerous including laundry detergent and especially dryer sheets that coat all your clothes with a layer of toxic chemicals. When you wear those clothes, your body moisture causes those chemicals to come into contact with your skin and be absorbed directly into your bloodstream. It's one of many easy way to poison your system with cancer-causing chemicals. :-(

Sorry I do not have any chairs to bring, but let me know if you need anything else

    January 24, 2013

  • Jen

With a full 18 in attendance, I plan to split the group up into 3 tables. I have tables and most chairs. Will you please let me know if you can bring chairs and how many. Thanks

I need to know if the home where you are meeting is also the home of a cat??

    January 22, 2013

    • Jen

      I have a cat and a dog.

      January 22, 2013

    • Jen

I have both a cat and a dog. The cat hides when people come over. The dog loves attention.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
