Birdsong Nature Center is just over the Georgia state line on Meridian Road and consists of 565 acres of wildflower meadows, forests, ponds and swamps which are home to a myriad of birds (160+ species have been sighted) and other wildlife. Visit the bird window for an extraordinary and intimate bird-viewing experience. Bring a snack/water and day hike on some of the twelve miles of trails. Admission: $5 adults, $2.50 children 4-12 years old, free to BNC members. Meet at 1:30 p.m. at visitor check-in. Limit 25 people.
