April 13, Sunday P/M Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park, Gate A, 1275 Miller Landing Road, Tallahassee 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. For camaraderie, fun, exercise, and environmental education, join this event, geared for everyone--all ages--interested in the outdoors. Learn about invasive plants, particularly Coral Ardisia (CA), currently harming many local areas. You will take a 1-2 mile hike while learning from experts, via hands-on work, how to ID and remove CA, followed by lunch (provided). Bring water, bug spray, garden/work gloves, and wear shoes for hiking. Bring a clipper and/or a shovel (pointed type best) if you own them. We will have extras.
