Yes, I am life member of the Florida Trail Association
Experienced hiker, backpacker and paddler. I lead several activities for the Florida Trail Association: * Annual Bradwell Bay Swamp Stomp the first Saturday in March hiking through the Bradwell Bay Wilderness Area's swamp in the Apalachicola National Forest. * Birding hikes in the Wade Tract in south Georgia. Jim Cox, biologist with Tall Timbers Research Station, co-leads and describes the natural history tour of this old-growth longleaf pine and wiregrass forest. * Wacissa River and the Slave Canal paddling trip through the wilds of the Wacissa River.
Hiking and paddling in wilderness settings and enjoying the special natural areas of the Big Bend and Florida.
I am been a volunteer with the Florida Trail for over 30 years and was its lead staff person for the Florida National Scenic Trail for 13 years.
Great folks to spend time with in the woods or at meetings.
