AppFusion November 2010 Meetup

Hello all

You're quite right - it's been too long since our last AppFusion Meetup. A lot has happened in the meantime, what with the iPad, a bunch of rule changes and lots of new markets opening up, so now seems the right time to ask some of our London app pioneers back for a State Of The Nation address! We'll have superstar developers and publishers - like Malcolm Barclay, Lance Stewart and Jason Swain - on hand to tell us how the world of apps looks to them in late 2010. I'll issue a full line-up nearer the time, but for now please keep 7:00 pm November 9th free in your diaries. Drop me a line if you'd like to present - if we can't fit you in this time then hopefully another time.

We'll be back to our original venue too - the Horse and Groom, 128 Great Portland St, so make sure you go to the right place!

Also, from previous meetups I know that the night will be oversubscribed so please RSVP "Yes" only if you're definitely coming. If you subsequently need to drop out then no worries at all, but do share the love by updating your RSVP on Meetup, so others can take your place. It'll be great to see everyone again.

The meetup on Tuesday was absolutely briiliant. Jason Dunne is simply a genius with his sharp, specific and structured interviewing of the panel of speakers. It adds so much value to the meet up . Bravo Jason. Ken

Really enjoyed my first appfusion evening. Nice set up and an interesting group. I managed to speak with a couple of people, including Malcolm from the panel.

Met some great people last night. Was a good mix of developers and business people.

I chatted to plenty of interesting people & came away with some new ideas to research. That, for me, is the definition of a good Meetup.

Timely review of the app scene as it is now, with voices from both iPhone and Android - excellent meetup.

Great piece of knowledge sharing by experienced developers. I learned a lot! In future it would be good to have a few more topics to discuss, perhaps put forward by the audience in advance, and a more than 30 mins to discuss them. Otherwise very good and we made some great contacts.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
