This was my first hike with this group and I found everyone to be warm and friendly. The hike was tough for me but I did it and will go again. Thanks for the great hike!

People, thank you so very much for joining another terrific Valley Forge Monthly hike. As we all noticed, the weather was simply fantastic! We did 12.5 miles with total up elevation 1845 feet and average moving speed of 3.1/mph. We had 29 people today and this time everyone was great at navigating their way to the start of the hike! We had several new people. Welcome! Jennifer R., you can move fast! Thanks to you and Paul I wasn’t alone in the front! Christine, foot-rub coming up after the next hike! Eleanor, thank you for sweeping – great job on your first co-lead! We had 11 at Valley Forge Pizza for the post hike lunch. I really enjoyed the day in its entirety. Days like this should happen more than once a month! See you all on a future hike. - Bijal

That's alright, Jason. I take it as a little preparation for meeting Yeti in the mountains some day.

I can't wait for this hike! FYI...for those that enjoy these longer hikes in Valley Forge Park...you can also check out a new meetup group..."Harry's Happy Hikers"...they do an 8 mile version of Bijal's awesome hike every 1-2 weeks as well Ridley Creek and other places.

I might consider doing their hikes if it does not conflict with Bijal's hikes.
