The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area has 67,000 acres of forest on both sides of the Delaware River in NJ and PA. Forty miles of the Middle Delaware River are within the area as well as some of the highest waterfalls of either state. Join us for a challenging 12 mile loop hike on the Pennsylvania side which will include three waterfalls, a vista, and part of the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC). Start time 9:00am. This hike will include steep rocky hiking trails, mud, dirt roads, jeep trails, and stream crossings so hiking boots are highly recommended. Bring water, hiking boots, rain gear, and lunch. Hikers will be screened and must be prepared. Registration is required.

First time on these trails on the PA side. Great people to hike with too! Waterfalls spectacular enough now and might be even better in the Spring. The PEEC is pretty cool too

Scott, is the hike on even in the rain? Per weather channel - rain all night into tomorrow morning.

    Hi,
I am from Brooklyn, New York. Are there any hikers coming from the same area and if you are, can you give me a ride to the meeting place this Sunday? I will help with the cost of transportation. The Indian Ladders hike is worth a trip. I was there over the Labor Day weekend. The waterfalls is outrageous. The place is full of swimming holes bring your bathing suits!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
