Rt 24 West, Chester, NJ
Easy winter hike in historic Black River Park. Our trek will take us along the beautiful Black River; some portions on Patriot's Path and short spur of Hacklebarney Branch - CNJRR. The park office is not positive the entire trail is open; we will investigate and modify our route as needed. Bring sturdy footwear, water, snacks, lunch, thermos, non-cotton layers, and traction devices. As a precaution, WEAR ORANGE. Friendly dogs on leash welcomed. Heavy rain/snow cancels. Meet at Cooper Grist Mill parking lot (Route 513/Old Route 24) at 10:00 AM. If you have a pressing appointment, please consider another activity; we plan to take our time and enjoy the outdoors. Optional post-hike refreshment stop at local pub.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
