Lawrenceville/Hopewell Trail Bike Ride

Come join us on a scenic journey on The Lawrence Hopewell
Trail (LHT), a 20+ miles bicycle and pedestrian recreational trail and
transportation corridor through public and private lands in Lawrence and
Hopewell Townships, Mercer County, New Jersey.  The LHT is a loop of almost
22 miles utilizing a variety of surfaces including paved blacktop, fine
hard-packed stone, and sidewalk.  The terrain will be rolling and includes a short steep hill. Moderate pace with breaks. Mountain, hybrid or comfort bike recommended.  Road bike with narrow high-pressure street tires are strongly discouraged, due to the nature of riding on some of the trail surfaces. Moderate conditioning, bike in good working condition, spare tube, tools, and helmet
required. Bring snacks and water. For those interested, we will also have a post-ride meal.

Meeting time and location:  The meeting time is 9:00 am.  Meeting location is the Princeton Pike Corporate Center, in Lawrenceville, NJ. Take Exit 8B Princeton Pike North from I-95, and travel north on Princeton Pike (County Route 583) about 4/10 of a mile PAST the traffic light at Lennox Drive and take the next right.  There is a Prism Princeton Corporate Center sign and a small LHT sign
which is green. The road is not marked but is Lennox Drive North. Travel down
this road approximately 1/10 of a mile past the large white 100 Lennox Drive building that is on your right.  Make a right just after a blue sign with white at the top with 100 Lennox Drive pointing to the right. This is a long and somewhat narrow parking lane. Continue down this lane that follows the back of the 100 Lennox Drive building until it opens up into a larger parking lot. This is the meeting spot.

That is a really cool ride. I usually start this ride in Hopewell Twp. (Rosedale Park) and ride to Lawrence Prep and back. I'm really sorry I missed it. Hope the group does it again soon.

A real nice ride around Mercer County on trails and the road. No rain, mild temps and a great leader. Hope to do this ride again in the fall. This was my first visit to this area .

Hi Robert. Meetup should send you a notice that you are on the ride, should a spot open up. You can also check the ride posting periodically.
