People, thank you so very much for joining Pinnacle/Pulpit hike. The weather turned out to be really nice with low humidity and breaks of sunshine. We did the classic hike with a slightly extended loop for a total of 9.68 miles and 1309 feet of total up elevation, (Heather thank you texting the stats). We had 34 participants for the hike and three additional people were en route but could not join us. Kathryn, Anna, and Zakia we missed you. We had two groups. My sincere thanks to Michele for helping me out so that we could accommodate everyone. Carol and Diane thank you for sweeping. Diasy, we will miss you on our hikes as you move out West. Annie, yes you did the cave! Jin your “better looking” claim is debatable! We had 14 people at Westy’s – good times and this time, they were nice enough to do separate checks! Now, I have to find a slingshot in Trimountaine! See you all on a future hike. - Bijal

Great hike, and a great group to share it with. Thanks Michele and Bijal for leading. And now I finally know that that is not Hawk Mountain... the benefits of hiking with folks who know what they're doing!

I had a great time hiking with the 'better looking' group. Life was just more relaxed with us. Thanks to Michele and Carol for taking care of our group.

So sorry Anna and I missed the hike!!! We were so very lost that we arrived at 12:30, hoping to see you on the way down. We ran into a copperhead and went down a very challenging rock scramble near vertical path on our way down on the yellow marker trail. We then got lost on the way to the parking lot, but got a ride from a kind neighbor to our car 3 miles from where we were looking. Bijal's hikes are always so well done and with such good company, it was our loss.

People, there seems to be a lot of interest for this relatively shorter hike. Michele Valerio has graciously agreed to help me with this hike. If the group is larger than 25 we will split up the group. Please keep your RSVP up to date. If your plans have changed, please update your RSVP right away. While this is a moderate level hike, if you have never hiked with me before, please drop me a line via email about your recent hiking activities. Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday. - Bijal
