Biking Along the Paulins kill Rail Trail

Join us for a flat 20+ mile moderately-relaxed paced ride along the beautiful Paulins Kill Valley Rail-Trail; this route follows the New York Susquehanna & Western Railroad right-of-way. Explore this rural crushed-cinder trail through hardwood forests, over several historical railroad bridges and overlooking beautiful Paulinskill Lake. We will begin our ride at Warbasse Junction where the Sussex Branch crossed the NYS&W RR. There are no concessions along the route; bring lunch, snacks, water, patch kit/extra tube, and a hybrid/mountain bike. Helmet is mandatory! Consider this an all day activity. Meet at 10:00 AM SHARP at Warbasse Junction, Lafayette. Refer to the link provided for directions and additional information. Optional post activity refreshment stop.  Rain cancels and rain date is Sunday, Apr. 27th.  Check this site or Leader for updates.

Thank you all for a great day outdoors. Started out 'iffy' but turned out to be a beautiful day. Hope to see you all soon.

Excellent ride, Terry, with a nice group of riders. The weather worked in our favor, and the post-ride lunch at the Boathouse was delightful with a superb view.
Looking forward to the next great ride.

This looks like a great ride. I hope to do it another time, but this time I have a scheduling conflict.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
