EVER WANTED TO HIKE THE WORLD FAMOUS APPALACHIAN TRAIL...OR JUST LEARN MORE ABOUT IT ?!

MEET LARGER THAN LIFE APPALACHIAN TRAIL AUTHORS, ICONS, VENDORS AND REPS FROM THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL CONSERVANCY AND THE GEORGIA APPALACHIAN TRAIL CLUB - AS THEY CONDUCT SEMINARS, TALK ABOUT THE LATEST GEAR AND IMMERSE YOU IN "EVERYTHING APPALACHIAN TRAIL"!

We didn't see or meet but one other person from the meetup. Now whether people didn't get their name tags or what I don't know. But I feel like it should have been better organized.

Hi! I am brand new to the group and really look forward to participating in some hiking meetups. Unfortunately, I do not think I will make it to Amicalola Falls this time.

Where abouts do you live? Would you want to drive and take your car or would you rather use mine?

Tis sounds really cool, but I've never been on an overnight hike. What equipment would one bring?

    • Bob G.

Hey Michelle! This is the one event we hae each year that is NOT actually a hike - nor a camping trip - but great "How To" seminars at Amicalola Falls State Park lodge. If you choose to attend more than just Saturday (goes from Friday to Sunday night) - you can stay in the lodge at the park! No equipment needed :)
