A couple more useful spanish websites:
This one has short stories for children. They look like they are fairly easy to read. Might be something we can do together for a meetup activity. Maybe choose one ahead of time, so everyone can read it beforehand and then ask questions about the story at the next meetup.
And here is another website that I really like. Duolingo. It's a great activity for building your spanish skills. And I think that we can connect with each other on this one. It can be done through your email or Facebook. I think you can do it on your iphone, too. I got the app on my phone, but haven't tried it yet. I have been doing it through both Facebook and my email.

Hi everyone, I'm looking forward to seeing and meeting those of you who are coming to the Meetup, tomorrow! I'm thinking that we will briefly introduce ourselves, do some flashcards, and then try to have a conversation using the words that we learned from the flashcards. I will make some flashcards with the theme of seasons and types of activities that people like to do. And, Julie, if you could bring your flashcards, that would be great, too! If you want to brush up on some of your basic phrases for introductions, etc. , the website, ielanguages.com, that I posted in the discussion section on here has a lot of useful ones that you can learn, like - what is your name, my name is..., where are you from, I am from..., etc. And if you have any good learning ideas that you would like to share too, please post and/or bring those with you to the Meetup. See you tomorrow!!
