Q: How much control do we as the App owner have over the channels and conversations?
A: You have full control of the Channels you want to configure for your Community. And as Owner, have moderation rights over conversations.

Please drop me a line if you have any further queries.

    Cheers

    Sadiq

    July 23, 2013

  • Sadiq Q.

Q: How do you see that our users/visitors will come back to our App, after having visited LoYakk?
A: We have architected the solution (web app container within your App) in such a fashion that the User does not ever get a sense that they are leaving your App or seeing content from another source/LoYakk. From that perspective, they are not leaving your App per se.

Q: Will your App is have Ads?
A: No. We do not plan to have adverts within the App. But that said, you have the flexibility to monetise your App in any way you desire and we are not involved. In fact, you now have a new and additional way to monetise by allowing Channel Sponsors to brand Channels. As mentioned earlier the free offer covers this monetisation stream as well.

    July 23, 2013

  • Sadiq Q.

Q: What does the LoYakk offer entail?
A: We want to enable the App Owner and/or App Development Teams to easily put a User Community inside their App. We not only provide access to our platform but also host the Community for the App Owner. We are currently offering this free (for life) to AppsJunction members.
If you are the Owner of the App, then we will enable the first App Community for free as that is what we have publicly offered as part of the promotion.
If you an App Development House that builds Apps for other customers, then we will offer the first 5 free. From the 6th one onwards you will be charged as per the pricing model depending on your customer base.

    More questions coming ....

    July 23, 2013

  • Sadiq Q.

I have had quite a number of emails asking further questions about LoYakk's "Community As A Service" offering... I shall put up answers here, as I'm sure others will have similar questions.

Hi Guys, I am looking for a business development parter who can bring in VC connections and possible funding. My game "Speed Rovers" has done quite well with over 300k downloads for windows 8 in just 6 months, over 28k downloads for Windows Phone in less than 2 weeks. The game is also published for android. I have plans to improve the graphics more, add new game play and monetization mechanisms. Here are the links to the game : http://goo.gl/Et8tK

Hi All, I am an entrepreneur (Founder of life-mapp) with strong VC connections and I am looking for someone to join me as a partner/co-founder in a new project called “hengout. I am basically looking for developers (mobile app developers) who is looking to come on board as “Co-founders”. The business idea/concept is a strong one (just like life-mapp) and it has been getting positive feedback. In addition, the mobile app will be in a large global market with a very high demand. The benefit of working with me as a Co- Founder is that I'm confident that we will get funding (from seed to b & a rounds). This is due to my years working in the city and also as a “capital” introduction company where I assisted VC firms, hedge funds and private investors to raise funds.

If you are interested in the above kindly contact me on:

    Hi All

I'm really excited about this event. I've got an app idea in the very early stages. I'm working on getting some demo screen shots done and a working demo made in my scarce spare time outside of work.

I'd love to hear from other startups in a similar position or startups that have recently gone through this.
I would also love to hear if you’re looking to be a technical co-founder.
    I primarily need tips on:
    1) Creative a demo and teaser of the app
    2) Seed financing – I have some funds but feel I will need a lot more to get this off the ground
    3) Development, details on costs and options available e.g native vs web app
In addition I’m looking for advice on getting the legal side sorted, e.g trademarks, patents
I’m just looking forward to everything!

Hi Ben, would love to chat later, both about our Memrise app, which is already out, and the one I am working on now, CatAcademy, which will be out on iOS first, and then Android in the autumn. I've been meaning to find out more about publishing to Samsung Apps, so very keen to talk!

      Thanks,
