Gartner released a scathing report recently suggesting only 0.01% of apps will be viable by 2017. this is a tragedy! Infact everywhere you look, app discovery is the biggest problem of all.

Your objective should be to post your app in as many places as possible to optimize for discovery leading to downloads. Visit http://www.promotedapp.com and post it there for a one time modest fee. PromotedApp is helping solve the problem of discovery by providing a highly visual media app platform similar to Pinterest. This is branding and social marketing for apps at affordable prices. App screenshots are highly visual, and like TV Advertising, can send subliminal messages to help consumers engage, share and download. Once you understand the power of branding, you win!

Hi my name is Meryam and I'm the co-founder of a young start up that brings gamification to the world of weight loss. Our product is revolutionizing the weight loss industry by making nutrition fun, social and engaging. A first test on a sample population has shown very promising results. We are currently speaking to a VC about a first round of funding.

We've designed an app prototype and are now looking for an app developer (iOs and/or Android) to join our team. We can offer a salary and/or equity and most importantly the opportunity to build a product that can have a huge impact on society. Get in touch now to learn more!

Trust yesterday was awesome.....Rather unfortunate i could not make it as i am stuck @ WMC.

Social media has been fantastic but has missed the opportunity to help us discover ourselves as human beings as it feeds directly into the old time ideals of perception. This is the bigger picture we create from social media and somehow subminally find no reason to improve based on the false feeling and accolades we get from the created perception.

This amongst other reasons is why avamii, a personal character recognition platform is being developed, to enable you connect with yourself in ways that would blow your mind as you continue to discover yourself more and more based on information you emit which otherwise would have been redundant.

Our 2020 vision is to engage 1 in every 1000 living being.

Avamii is an EU registered trademark and we will add global trademark by mid Q2 .

Currently looking for collaborations to assist us get ready for funding.

good attendance but not many developers - larger portion of entrepreneurs. Struggled to hear what people were saying as microphone didn't work great and presenters not native english speakers. Could be great, but think speed dating probably works better for networking. Being a woman, couldn't believe how smelly it was in the room. Come on guys - how about having a shower / putting on the aftershave - the smell of BO was overpowering! Some good speakers, though.

    February 25

    • Charlie M.

Haha I've got to agree with the smell

      1 · February 26

    • Peter W.

Agree with all those points. I could understand the speakers but you really had to pay attention with the mic echo and the accents. And yes... deodorant/mints

Hi Guys. Great event last night. A big thank you to the organisers and the audience for giving me the opportunity to present the app. Not adding any contact info to my slides was silly (completely forgot abt it). You can get in touch with me on [masked] for any questions re my experience and learning of the entire process so far. Likewise if you wish to give me a general feedback on what you thought abt Gup (the app) - good or bad, both being equally useful, I would really appreciate that. I'll share the link to Gup (beta) in due course hoping you guys will give it a try. Thx and see you again soon - Praful

    Hi All,

I'm looking to connect with game developers to create a playable Alpha stage demo - a basic 2D working L1 module plus great graphics and demonstrating the player journey to other levels. A combination of fees plus equity on offer to the right person(s). We've presented to a couple of 'big boys' and they've expressed interest in taking the game further, so we need to do something! See you later.

    Hello there,

We are looking for like-minded people!

We need more people like ourselves: developers, project managers and investors to take the project to the next level. Come and join us!
