The Appsterdam Mobile Party was one of the events during iCE Amsterdam 2011 (March 7-8), featuring Mike Lee, Dom Sagolla and Joe Pezzillo as the inspiring leaders of the iOSDevCamp. Afterwards Mike Lee embraced the idea of Appsterdam with the aim to make Amsterdam the next Silicon Valley for app development. 

Appsterdam MeetupNow all parties work together to get the Appsterdam concept to the next level. One of the activities is the Appsterdam Meetup Group, where developers get together locally as often as they like – to do, share, learn and change something on app development. At this moment developers meet two times a week for informal get-togethers, to share knowledge, passion and passing on the Appsterdam vibe. More dedicated meetup events will periodically be organised – like training sessions, hackathons, workshops, etc.

The Appsterdam Meetups, iCE Amsterdam events, and Appsterdam World Expo and the Perfect Storm Expo will be the place where everything about apps comes together!
Only members of the Appsterdam Meetups can sign up for Meetup get-togethers and events. Developers who want to participate at tailor made Meetup events (like Appsterdam@PICNIC 2011, 14-16 September 2011) have to be members of the Appsterdam Meetup group. Only members can sign up for the event and get free tickets for the hosted activities.
